It all started on a hot day while spending time with my girlfriend, Levette Myrick.  As we sat together talking about women and their issues of life as well as our own.  At that time God was using me in her life through her own struggles.  God spoke and said to me gather the women, He began to say to me that women go through a lot in their lives, and they have many roles that they walk in.

God began to name some of them: wives, mothers, caretakers, workers, part-time fathers, and so much more.  Women needed a place to release all that they contribute to the lives of others.  I felt God creating a safe but a free space for women to share what they could not in other places.

So, it all began in 2012, Women of Destiny gave birth to a ministry to be used by God to help heal women.  God spoke in my spirit the names of women to gather to walk alongside me to build our team.  God began to give directions through the holy spirit, we began to have small gatherings at some of the women homes.  We invited women to come and be apart of what God was doing through us all.

God’s desire, I felt was that these women would be healed, delivered, comforted, and have a safe place to release their pain and learn to be free.  As we ministered from house-to-house of team members, God began to give increase to the ministry.  We began to do yearly retreats, we did them from 2013 to 2017, then a pause came.  Not knowing why, but I noticed that God did not shut it down completely.

We did not start again until 2024, God showed me a vision in the beginning of 2023 of so many women gathered together.  At the end of 2023 God spoke and said to me now gather the women again.  So, I began to reach out to some of the women that were previously on my team and a few new women.  They all agreed to be apart of Women of Destiny and here we stand today to continue to be used by God.

Our motto is We S.E.E. You, Strengthen, Encourage, Empower, we will stand in the gap of women’s lives to walk in the assignment from God.  As we journey forth, we simply ask for prayer to cover our team as we obey God the Father, Jesus the Son of God, and The Holy Spirit of God.
